أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ صَاحِبِ الْقُرْآنِ كَصَاحِبِ الْإِبِلِ الْمُعَقَّلَةِ إِنْ عَاهَدَ عَلَيْهَا أَمْسَكَهَا وَإِنْ أَطْلَقَهَا ذَهَبَتْ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ahmad bin Ali bin al-Muthanna narrated to us, Muhammad bin Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us from Amr bin Dinar from Sa'id bin al-Musayyib from a man from the Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) - and I think he said from Abu Sa'id - from the Prophet (ﷺ) who said: 'When one of you leads the people in prayer, let him be brief, for among them are the weak, the sick, and the elderly. And when he prays alone, let him make it as long as he wishes.'
