أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ تُوُفِّيَ أَبِي وَعَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ فَعَرَضْتُ عَلَى غُرَمَائِهِ أَنْ يَأْخُذُوا التَّمْرَ بِمَا عَلَيْهِ فَأَبَوْا وَلَمْ يُعْرَفُوا أَنَّ فِيهِ وَفَاءً فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ «إِذَا جَدَدْتَهُ وَوَضَعْتَهُ فَآذِنْ لِي» فَلَمَّا جَدَدْتُ وَوَضَعْتُهُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ آذَنْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَجَاءَ وَمَعَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ فَجَلَسَ فَدَعَا لَهُ بِالْبَرَكَةِ وَقَالَ «ادْعُ غُرَمَاءَكَ وَأَوْفِهِمْ» فَمَا تَرَكْتُ أَحَدًا لَهُ عَلَى أَبِي دَيْنٌ إِلَّا قَضَيْتُهُ وَفَضَلَ لِي ثَلَاثَةَ عَشَرَ وَسْقًا عَجْوَةً قَالَ فَوَافَيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلَاةَ الْمَغْرِبِ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَضَحِكَ ﷺ وَقَالَ «ائْتِ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ فَأَخْبِرْهُمَا» فَقَالَا قَدْ عَلِمْنَا إِذْ صَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَا صَنَعَ أَنْ يَكُونَ ذَلِكَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Jabir (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: "My father passed away owing a debt. I offered the creditors the dates in settlement of his debt, but they refused, not seeing them as sufficient. I came to the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and mentioned that to him. He stated: 'When you harvest the dates and gather them in the threshing floor, inform me.' When I harvested and gathered them, I informed the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). He came with Hadrat Abu Bakr and Hadrat Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them), sat down, and supplicated for blessings. He stated: 'Call your creditors and pay them.' I did not leave a single creditor of my father unpaid, and thirteen wasqs of ajwa dates remained for me. I met the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) at the Maghrib prayer and told him about it. He smiled (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and stated: 'Go to Abu Bakr and Umar and tell them.' They said: 'We knew, when the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) did what he did, that this would happen.'"
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت جابر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے: میرے والد وفات پا گئے اور ان پر قرض تھا۔ میں نے قرض خواہوں کو پیش کیا کہ کھجوریں لے لیں بدلے میں لیکن انہوں نے انکار کر دیا اور انہیں کافی نہیں سمجھا۔ میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور بتایا۔ آپ نے فرمایا: «جب تم کھجوریں توڑو اور جمع کرو تو مجھے خبر دو۔» جب میں نے توڑیں اور مسجد میں رکھیں تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو اطلاع دی۔ آپ تشریف لائے اور آپ کے ساتھ حضرت ابو بکر اور حضرت عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما تھے۔ آپ بیٹھے اور برکت کی دعا فرمائی اور ارشاد فرمایا: «اپنے قرض خواہوں کو بلاؤ اور ادا کرو۔» میں نے اپنے والد کا ہر قرض ادا کر دیا اور تیرہ وسق عجوہ کھجوریں بچ گئیں۔ پھر مغرب کی نماز میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے ملا اور بتایا تو آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم مسکرائے اور فرمایا: «ابو بکر اور عمر کو جا کر بتاؤ۔» انہوں نے فرمایا: ہمیں معلوم تھا کہ جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے جو کیا، تو ایسا ہی ہوگا۔
