أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ كُنْتُ أَمْشِي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَمَرَّ بِابْنِ صَيَّادٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «إِنِّي قَدْ خَبَّأْتُ لَكَ خَبْأً» فَقَالَ هُوَ الدَّخُّ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «اخْسَأْ فَلَنْ تَعْدُوَ قَدْرَكَ» قَالَ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ ؓ دَعْنِي فَأَضْرِبَ عُنُقَهُ قَالَ «لَا إِنْ يَكُنِ الَّذِي تَخَافُ فَلَنْ تَسْتَطِيعَ قَتْلَهُ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abdullah ibn Muhammad al-Azdi informed us, Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Abu Mu'awiyah informed us, al-A'mash narrated to us from Shaqiq from Abdullah who said: I was walking with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) when he passed by Ibn Sayyad. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "I have hidden something for you." He said: "It is al-Dukh." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Be gone! You will not exceed your measure." He said: Then Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Let me strike his neck." He said: "No. If he is the one you fear, you will not be able to kill him."
