أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ قَالَ كُنَّا عِنْدَ ج��ابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ يُوشِكُ أَهْلُ الْعِرَاقِ أَنْ لَا يُجْبَى إِلَيْهِمْ قَفِيزٌ وَلَا دِرْهَمٌ قُلْنَا مِنْ أَيِّ شَيْءٍ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ مِنْ قِبَلِ الْعَجَمِ يَمْنَعُونَ ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ قَالَ يُوشِكُ أَهْلُ الشَّامِ أَنْ لَا يُجْبَى إِلَيْهِمْ دِينَارٌ وَلَا مُدْيٌ قُلْنَا مِنْ أَيٍّ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ مِنْ قِبَلِ الرُّومِ؟ ثُمَّ أُسْكِتَ هُنَيَّةً ثُمَّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يَكُونُ فِي آخِرِ أُمَّتِي خَلِيفَةٌ يَحْثِي الْمَالَ حَثْيًا لَا يَعُدُّهُ عَدًّا»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Ya'la informed us, Abu Khaythamah narrated to us, Isma'il ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, al-Jurayri narrated to us from Abu Nadrah who said: We were with Jabir ibn Abdullah. He said: "Soon the people of Iraq will have neither a qafiz nor a dirham brought to them." We said: "From what will that be?" He said: "From the non-Arabs - they will prevent that." Then he said: "Soon the people of Sham will have neither a dinar nor a mudd brought to them." We said: "From what will that be?" He said: "From the Romans." Then he was silent for a while, then said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There will be at the end of my nation a caliph who will distribute wealth by the handful without counting it."
