أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ فَيْرُوزَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ الْأَضَاحِيَّ فَقَالَ أَشَارَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِيَدِهِ وَيَدِي أَقْصَرُ مِنْ يَدِهِ فَقَالَ «أَرْبَعٌ لَا يُضَحَّى بِهِنَّ الْعَوْرَاءُ الْبَيِّنُ عَوَرُهَا وَالْمَرِيضَةُ الْبَيِّنُ مَرَضُهَا وَالْعَرْجَاءُ الْبَيِّنُ ظَلَعُهَا وَالْعَجْفَاءُ الَّتِي لَا تُنْقِي» فَقَالُوا لِلْبَرَاءِ فَإِنَّمَا نَكْرَهُ النَّقْصَ فِي السِّنِّ وَالْأُذُنِ وَالذَّنَبِ قَالَ «فَاكْرَهُوا مَا شِئْتُمْ وَلَا تُحَرِّمُوا عَلَى النَّاسِ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ahmad ibn Ali ibn al-Muthanna informed us, saying: al-Qa'nabi narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Aziz ibn Muhammad al-Darawardi narrated to us from Yahya ibn Sa'id from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Taymi from Alqamah ibn Waqqas from Umar ibn al-Khattab that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Actions are only by intentions, and for every person is only what he intended. So whoever emigrated for Allah and His Messenger, his emigration is for Allah and His Messenger, and whoever emigrated for worldly gain or a woman to marry, his emigration is for that to which he emigrated.'
