أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ الْمُعَلِّمُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ إِذَا تَبَوَّأَ مَضْجَعَهُ «الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي كَفَانِي وَآوَانِي وَسَقَانِي الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي مَنَّ عَلَيَّ فَأَفْضَلَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَعْطَانِي فَأَجْزَلَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَالِكَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَإِلَهَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ لَكَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ» *
انگریزی ترجمہ
Al-Hasan ibn Sufyan informed us, he said: Mahmud ibn Ghaylan narrated to us, he said: Abdul Samad ibn Abdul Warith narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to us, he said: Al-Husayn al-Mu'allim narrated to us, he said: Ibn Burayda narrated to us, he said: Ibn Umar narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say when he settled into his bed: 'Praise be to Allah who sufficed me and sheltered me and gave me to drink. Praise be to Allah who bestowed upon me and favored me. Praise be to Allah who gave me and granted me abundantly. Praise be to Allah in every state. O Allah, Lord of everything, Owner of everything, God of everything, to You belongs everything. I seek refuge in You from the Fire.'
