أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ قَحْطَبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ الْقُرَشِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا أَوَى أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ فَلْيَأْخُذْ دَاخِلَةَ إِزَارَهُ فَلْيَنْفُضْ بِهَا فِرَاشَهُ وَيُسَمِّي اللَّهَ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَدْرِي مَا خَلَفَهُ عَلَيْهِ بَعْدَهُ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَضْطَجِعَ فَلْيَضْطَجِعْ عَلَى شِقِّهِ الْأَيْمَنَ وَلْيَقُلْ سُبْحَانَكَ رَبِّي بِكَ وَضَعْتُ جَنْبِي وَبِكَ أَرْفَعُهُ إِنْ أَمْسَكْتَ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لَهَا وَإِنْ أَرْسَلْتَهَا فَاحْفَظْهَا بِمَا حَفِظْتَ بِهِ عِبَادَكَ الصَّالِحِينَ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abdullah ibn Qahṭaba informed us, he said: Ahmad ibn Aban al-Qurashi narrated to us, he said: Anas ibn Iyad narrated to us, he said: Ubaydullah ibn Umar narrated to us, from Sa'id al-Maqburi, from his father, from Abu Hurayra, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When one of you goes to his bed, let him take the inside of his lower garment and dust off his bed with it and mention Allah's name, for he does not know what came after him on his bed. When he intends to lie down, let him lie down on his right side and say: Glory be to You my Lord, with You I have laid down my side and with You I will raise it. If You withhold my soul, then forgive it, and if You release it, then protect it with that which You protect Your righteous servants.'
