أَخْبَرَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ الْقَزَّازُ أَبُو عَمْرٍو الْمُعَدِّلُ بِالْبَصْرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ حَدَّثَنَا الطُّفَاوِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ أَعْتَقَ غُلَامًا لَهُ عَنْ دُبُرٍ وَاسْمُ الْغُلَامِ يَعْقُوبُ وَالَّذِي أَعْتَقَهُ يُدْعَى أَبَا مَذْكُورٍ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرُهُ فَدَعَا بِهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «مَنْ يَشْتَرِي هَذَا مِنِّي؟ » فَاشْتَرَاهُ مِنْهُ نُعَيْمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَخُو بَنِي عَدِيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ بِثَمَانِ مِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ ثُمَّ دَعَا بِهِ فَقَالَ «إِذَا كُنْتَ فَقِيرًا فَأَبْدَأُ بِنَفْسِكَ فَإِنْ كَانَ فَضْلًا فَعَلَى عِيَالِكَ فَإِنْ كَانَ فَضْلًا فَعَلَى قَرَابَتِكَ فَإِنْ كَانَ فَضْلًا فَهَاهُنَا وَهَاهُنَا» وَكَانَ إِذَا حَدَّثَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ كَانَ عَبْدًا قِبْطِيًّا مَاتَ عَامَ أَوَّلٍ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Jabir (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that a man from the Ansar freed a slave of his called Ya'qub after his death, and the one who freed him was called Abu Madhkur, and he had no other property. The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) called for him and stated: «Who will buy this one from me?» Nu'aym ibn Abdullah, the brother of Banu Adiyy ibn Ka'b, bought him from him for eight hundred dirhams. Then he called for him and stated: «When you are poor, begin with yourself, and if there is any surplus, then for your dependents, and if there is any surplus, then for your relatives, and if there is any surplus, then here and there.» And when he used to narrate this hadith, he would say: He was a Coptic slave who died in the first year.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت زید بن خالد جہنی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: «جس نے اللہ کی راہ میں ایک جنگجو کو سامان دیا اس نے غزوے میں شرکت کی، اور جس نے کسی جنگجو کے گھر والوں کی بھلائی کے ساتھ دیکھ بھال کی اس نے غزوے میں شرکت کی۔»
