أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانَ بِمَنْبِجَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْخَيْلُ لِرَجُلٍ أَجْرٌ وَلِرَجُلٍ سِتْرٌ وَلِرَجُلٍ وِزْرٌ فَأَمَّا الَّذِي هِيَ لَهُ أَجْرٌ فَرَجُلٌ رَبَطَهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَأَطَالَ لَهَا فِي مَرْجٍ أَوْ رَوْضَةٍ فَمَا أَصَابَتْ فِي طِيَلِهَا ذَلِكَ مِنَ الْمَرْجِ أَوِ الرَّوْضَةِ كَانَتْ لَهُ حَسَنَاتٌ وَلَوْ أَنَّهَا قَطَعَتْ طِيَلَهَا فَاسْتَنَّتْ شَرَفًا أَوْ شَرَفَيْنِ كَانَتْ آثَارُهَا وَأَرْوَاثُهَا حَسَنَاتٌ لَهُ وَلَوْ أَنَّهَا مَرَّتْ بِنَهَرٍ فَشَرِبَتْ مِنْهُ وَلَمْ يَرُدْ أَنْ يَسْقِيَهُ كَانَ لَهُ ذَلِكَ حَسَنَاتٌ فَهِيَ لِذَلِكَ أَجْرٌ وَرَجُلٌ رَبَطَهَا تَغَنِّيًا وَتَعَفُّفًا وَلَمْ يَنْسَ حَقَّ اللَّهِ فِي رِقَابِهَا وَلَا ظُهُورِهَا فَهِيَ لِذَلِكَ سِتْرٌ وَرَجُلٌ رَبَطَهَا فَخْرًا وَرِيَاءً وَنِوَاءً لِأَهْلِ الْإِسْلَامِ فَهِيَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ وِزْرٍ» وَسُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْحُمُرِ فَقَالَ «مَا أَنْزِلَ عَلَيَّ فِيهَا شَيْءٌ إِلَّا بِهَذِهِ الْآيَةِ الْجَامِعَةِ الْفَاذَّةِ {فَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالُ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ} »
انگریزی ترجمہ
Umar ibn Sa'id ibn Sinan informed us in Manbij, Ahmad ibn Abi Bakr informed us from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam from Abu Salih from Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «Horses are for one man a reward, for another a covering, and for a third a burden. As for the one for whom it is a reward, it is a man who keeps it in the path of Allah and gives it a long tether in a meadow or garden, so whatever it eats during that tethering from the meadow or garden will be good deeds for him. And if it breaks its tether and runs across one or two elevations, its tracks and droppings will be good deeds for him. And if it passes by a river and drinks from it, even though he did not intend to give it water, that will be good deeds for him - so for that it is a reward. As for a man who keeps it for self-sufficiency and modesty and does not forget Allah's right concerning its neck and back, for him it is a covering. And a man who keeps it out of pride, ostentation, and enmity toward the people of Islam - for him it is a burden.» The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was asked about donkeys, and he stated: «Nothing has been revealed to me concerning them except this comprehensive and unique verse: {So whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it, and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it.}»
