أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَمْزَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الصَّائِغِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَ الشَّفْعِ وَالْوِتْرِ بِتَسْلِيمٍ يُسْمِعُنَاهُ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) had two muezzins, Bilal and Ibn Umm Maktum. The Messenger of Allah said: 'Bilal gives the call to prayer at night, so eat and drink until Ibn Umm Maktum gives the call to prayer.' He said: And one of them was not up on the minaret until the other came down, and one of them would not come down until the other went up.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ ﷺ رات کو نماز پڑھتے، اور جب وتر پڑھنا چاہتے تو مجھے نہیں جگاتے یہاں تک کہ اپنا وتر ختم کر لیتے۔
