اللَّهُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لاَ تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلاَ نَوْمٌ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِهِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلاَ يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلاَّ بِمَا شَاء وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَلاَ يَؤُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Allah! There is no deity worthy of worship except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Kursi (Throne/Footstool) extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation does not tire Him. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. (Ayat al-Kursi - whoever recites it when going to bed, a guardian from Allah will be appointed over him and Satan will not come near him until morning.)
اردو ترجمہ
”جو شخص سوتے وقت آیت الکرسی پڑھ لے اس پر اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے ایک نگران مقرر کر دیا جاتا ہے اور صبح تک شیطان اس کے قریب نہیں آ سکتا۔“[صحيح بخاري: 2311، 5010][مختصر حصن المسلم/ابواب/حدیث: 110]
