Abu al-Za'ra' narrated: We were with Hadrat Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be well pleased with him) when the Dajjal was mentioned. Abdullah ibn Mas'ud said: "When he emerges, the people shall divide into three groups: a group that follows him, a group that retreats to the land of their forefathers — the lands where wormwood grows — and a group that takes position along the bank of the Euphrates, fighting him as he fights them, until the believers gather in the villages of Syria. They shall send a scouting party, among them a horseman on a chestnut — or piebald — horse." He said: "They shall fight, and not one of them shall return alive." Salamah said: Abu Sadiq narrated to me from Rabi'ah ibn Najidh that Abdullah ibn Mas'ud said: "A chestnut horse." Abdullah said: "The People of the Book claim that the Messiah shall descend to them." He said: I heard him mention from the People of the Book a hadith other than this. "Then Gog and Magog shall emerge and roam the earth, spreading corruption in it." Then Abdullah recited: 'And they shall swarm from every elevation' (Quran 21:96). He said: "Then Allah shall send upon them a creature like the naghaf (parasitic worms) that shall enter their ears and nostrils, and they shall die from it. The earth shall reek of their stench, and people shall cry out to Allah, and He shall send water to cleanse the earth of them." He said: "Then Allah shall send a cold, freezing wind, and it shall not leave a single believer on the face of the earth without taking his soul." He said: "Then the Hour shall come upon the worst of people. Then an angel shall stand with the Trumpet between heaven and earth and blow it — and the Trumpet is a horn — and no creature in the heavens or the earth shall remain alive except whom your Lord wills. Then between the two blasts shall be whatever Allah wills, and there is no descendant of Adam but something of him remains." He said: "Allah shall send water from beneath the Throne, like the fluid of men, and their flesh and bodies shall grow from that water as the earth grows from the rain." Then Abdullah recited: 'And it is Allah who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds, and We drive them to a dead land and give life thereby to the earth after its death. Thus is the resurrection' (Quran 35:9). He said: "Then an angel shall stand with the Trumpet between heaven and earth and blow it, and every soul shall go to its body and enter it. Then they shall stand and live — the life of one man — standing before the Lord of the Worlds." He said: "Then Allah the Exalted shall appear to creation and meet them. No one who worshipped anything besides Allah but it shall be raised for him to follow." He said: He shall meet the Jews and say: "Whom do you worship?" They shall say: "We worship Uzayr (Ezra)." He shall say: "Would you like water?" They shall say: "Yes" — whereupon He shall show them Hell in the form of a mirage. Then he recited: 'And We shall present Hell that Day to the disbelievers in full display' (Quran 18:100). He said: Then He shall meet the Christians and say: "Whom do you worship?" They shall say: "The Messiah." He shall say: "Would you like water?" They shall say: "Yes" — and He shall show them Hell in the form of a mirage. Likewise for all who worshipped anything besides Allah. Then he recited: 'And stop them, for they are to be questioned' (Quran 37:24). He said: "Then Allah the Exalted shall appear to creation and pass by the Muslims." He shall say: "Whom do you worship?" They shall say: "We worship Allah and associate nothing with Him." He shall rebuke them two or three times: "Whom do you worship?" They shall say: "We worship Allah and associate nothing with Him." He shall say: "Do you recognize your Lord?" They shall say: "Glory be to Him! When He makes Himself known to us, we shall recognize Him." He said: "Then the Shin shall be uncovered, and every believer shall fall in prostration before Allah, while the hypocrites — their backs shall be rigid like a single plank, as though skewers are in them." They shall say: "Our Lord!" And He shall say: "You were called to prostration when you were sound." He said: "Then He shall command the Bridge to be laid over Hell, and people shall pass according to their deeds in groups — some like a flash of lightning, some like the wind, some like birds, some like the swiftest of animals, and so on, until a man passes running, then walking, then the last of them shall be a man crawling on his belly." He shall say: "O my Lord, why have You delayed me?" He shall say: "I have not delayed you; your deeds have delayed you." He said: "Then Allah the Exalted shall grant permission for intercession. The first intercessor shall be the Holy Spirit, Jibril (upon him be blessings and peace), then Ibrahim the Friend of Allah, then Musa, then Isa (upon them be blessings and peace)." He said: Then your Prophet shall stand as the fourth — no one after him shall intercede for what he intercedes for — and that is the Praiseworthy Station which Allah (blessed and exalted is He) mentioned: 'It may be that your Lord will raise you to a Praiseworthy Station' (Quran 17:79). He said: "There is no soul but it shall look upon a house in Paradise or a house in the Fire." He said: "That is the Day of Regret." The people of the Fire shall see the house in Paradise and it shall be said: "If only you had acted." He said: "Regret shall seize them." The people of Paradise shall see the house in the Fire and it shall be said: "Had Allah not bestowed His favor upon you..." He said: Then the angels, prophets, martyrs, righteous, and believers shall intercede, and Allah shall accept their intercession. Then Allah shall say: "I am the Most Merciful of those who show mercy," and He shall bring out from the Fire more than all of creation combined brought out, by His mercy. Then He shall say: "I am the Most Merciful of those who show mercy." Then Abdullah recited: 'What led you into Hellfire?' They said: 'We were not of those who prayed, and we did not feed the poor, and we used to engage in falsehood with those who engaged in it, and we used to deny the Day of Judgment' (Quran 74:42-46). Abdullah counted four on his hand and said: "Do you see any good in these? None shall enter it (permanently) who has any good in him. When Allah (glorified and exalted is He) wills that no one else shall come out, He shall change their faces and colors." He said: A man shall come looking but shall not recognize anyone. A man shall call to him: "O so-and-so, I am so-and-so!" He shall say: "I do not recognize you." At that point they shall say: 'Our Lord, take us out of it; if we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be wrongdoers' (Quran 23:107). He shall say at that point: 'Be despised therein and do not speak to Me' (Quran 23:108). When He says that, it shall be sealed over them, and not a human being shall come out from among them.

ابو الزعراء سے روایت ہے، فرماتے ہیں: ہم حضرت عبد اللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے پاس تھے کہ دجال کا ذکر ہوا۔ حضرت عبد اللہ بن مسعود نے فرمایا: اس کے نکلنے پر لوگ تین گروہوں میں بٹ جائیں گے: ایک گروہ اس کی پیروی کرے گا، ایک گروہ اپنے آبائی علاقے کی طرف جائے گا — جہاں شیح (جنگلی بوٹی) اُگتی ہے — اور ایک گروہ فرات کے کنارے جم جائے گا۔ وہ ان سے لڑے گا اور وہ اس سے لڑیں گے یہاں تک کہ مومنین شام کے قصبوں میں جمع ہوں گے۔ وہ ان کی طرف ایک جاسوس دستہ بھیجیں گے جن میں ایک سوار سرخ یا ابلق گھوڑے پر ہوگا۔ فرمایا: وہ لڑیں گے اور ان میں سے ایک بھی زندہ واپس نہیں آئے گا۔ سلمہ نے کہا: مجھے ابو صادق نے ربیعہ بن ناجذ سے بیان کیا کہ عبد اللہ بن مسعود نے فرمایا: سرخ گھوڑا۔ عبد اللہ نے فرمایا: اہل کتاب کا دعویٰ ہے کہ مسیح ان کے پاس نازل ہوں گے۔ فرمایا: میں نے انہیں اہل کتاب سے اس کے علاوہ بھی ایک روایت بیان کرتے سنا۔ پھر یاجوج و ماجوج نکلیں گے اور زمین میں فساد مچائیں گے۔ پھر عبد اللہ نے تلاوت فرمائی: ﴿اور وہ ہر بلندی سے دوڑتے ہوئے آئیں گے﴾۔ فرمایا: پھر اللہ ان پر ناک کے کیڑوں جیسی مخلوق بھیجے گا جو ان کے کانوں اور ناکوں میں گھسے گی اور وہ مر جائیں گے۔ زمین ان کی بدبو سے سڑ جائے گی تو اللہ سے فریاد کی جائے گی اور وہ پانی بھیجے گا جو زمین کو ان سے پاک کرے گا۔ فرمایا: پھر اللہ ایک سرد، یخ بستہ ہوا بھیجے گا جو زمین پر کسی مومن کو نہیں چھوڑے گی مگر اس کی جان لے لے گی۔ فرمایا: پھر بدترین لوگوں پر قیامت آئے گی۔ پھر ایک فرشتہ آسمان اور زمین کے درمیان صور لے کر کھڑا ہوگا اور اس میں پھونکے گا — اور صور ایک سینگ ہے — تو آسمانوں اور زمین میں کوئی مخلوق زندہ نہ بچے گی سوائے جسے تمہارا رب چاہے۔ پھر دو پھونکوں کے درمیان اتنا وقفہ ہوگا جتنا اللہ چاہے، اور بنی آدم میں سے ہر ایک کا کچھ نہ کچھ باقی رہے گا۔ فرمایا: اللہ عرش کے نیچے سے مردوں کے مادے جیسا پانی بھیجے گا اور اس پانی سے ان کا گوشت اور جسم اُگے گا جیسے بارش سے زمین سے سبزہ اُگتا ہے۔ پھر عبد اللہ نے تلاوت فرمائی: ﴿اللہ وہ ہے جس نے ہوائیں بھیجیں، پھر وہ بادل اٹھاتی ہیں، پھر ہم نے اسے مردہ شہر کی طرف ہانکا، پھر اس سے زمین کو اس کی موت کے بعد زندہ کیا۔ اسی طرح دوبارہ اٹھنا ہوگا﴾۔ فرمایا: پھر ایک فرشتہ صور لے کر آسمان و زمین کے درمیان کھڑا ہوگا اور پھونکے گا تو ہر روح اپنے جسم کی طرف جائے گی اور اس میں داخل ہوگی، پھر وہ کھڑے ہوں گے اور ایک شخص کی طرح زندہ ہو کر رب العالمین کے حضور قیام کریں گے۔ فرمایا: پھر اللہ تعالیٰ مخلوق کے سامنے تجلی فرمائے گا اور ان سے ملاقات کرے گا۔ جو کوئی بھی اللہ کے سوا کسی اور کی عبادت کرتا تھا اس کے لیے وہ معبود بلند کیا جائے گا اور وہ اس کے پیچھے چلے گا۔ یہودیوں سے ملاقات ہوگی اور پوچھا جائے گا: تم کس کی عبادت کرتے تھے؟ وہ کہیں گے: عزیر کی۔ فرمائے گا: کیا تمہیں پانی اچھا لگتا ہے؟ وہ کہیں گے: ہاں — تب انہیں جہنم سراب کی شکل میں دکھائی جائے گی۔ پھر عبد اللہ نے تلاوت فرمائی: ﴿اور ہم نے اس دن کافروں کے سامنے جہنم کو کھول کر پیش کر دیا﴾۔ پھر نصاریٰ سے ملاقات ہوگی اور پوچھا جائے گا: تم کس کی عبادت کرتے تھے؟ وہ کہیں گے: مسیح کی۔ فرمائے گا: کیا تمہیں پانی اچھا لگتا ہے؟ وہ کہیں گے: ہاں — تو انہیں جہنم سراب کی شکل میں دکھائی جائے گی۔ اسی طرح ہر اس شخص کو جو اللہ کے سوا کسی اور کی عبادت کرتا تھا۔ پھر عبد اللہ نے تلاوت فرمائی: ﴿انہیں روکو! جب وہ ہمارے سامنے آئے گا تو ہم پہچان لیں گے۔ فرمایا: اس وقت پنڈلی کھولی جائے گی اور ہر مومن اللہ کے سامنے سجدے میں گر جائے گا، اور منافقین کی پیٹھیں ایک تختے کی طرح اکڑی رہیں گی گویا ان میں سیخیں ہیں۔ وہ کہیں گے: ہمارے رب! وہ فرمائے گا: تمہیں سجدے کے لیے بلایا جاتا تھا جب تم صحیح سالم تھے۔ فرمایا: پھر پل کا حکم دیا جائے گا جو جہنم پر رکھا جائے گا اور لوگ اپنے اعمال کے مطابق گروہوں میں گزریں گے — کچھ بجلی کی چمک کی طرح، پھر ہوا کی طرح، پھر پرندوں کی طرح، پھر تیز ترین جانوروں کی طرح، اسی طرح یہاں تک کہ آدمی دوڑتے ہوئے گزرے، پھر چلتے ہوئے، پھر ان میں آخری شخص اپنے پیٹ پر لوٹتے ہوئے گزرے۔ وہ کہے گا: اے میرے رب! تو نے مجھے کیوں دیر کر دی؟ فرمائے گا: میں نے تجھے دیر نہیں کی، تیرے عمل نے تجھے دیر کر دی۔ فرمایا: پھر اللہ تعالیٰ شفاعت کی اجازت دے گا۔ سب سے پہلا شفاعت کرنے والا روح القدس جبرئیل علیہ الصلوٰۃ والسلام ہوں گے، پھر ابراہیم خلیل اللہ، پھر موسیٰ، پھر عیسیٰ علیہم الصلوٰۃ والسلام۔ فرمایا: پھر تمہارے نبی چوتھے نمبر پر کھڑے ہوں گے — ان کے بعد کوئی اتنی شفاعت نہ کر سکے گا جتنی وہ کریں گے — اور یہی مقامِ محمود ہے جس کا اللہ تبارک و تعالیٰ نے ذکر فرمایا: ﴿عنقریب تیرا رب تجھے مقامِ محمود پر کھڑا کرے گا﴾۔ فرمایا: ہر نفس جنت میں ایک گھر یا جہنم میں ایک گھر دیکھے گا۔ فرمایا: یہی یومِ حسرت ہے۔ جہنم والے جنت میں اپنا گھر دیکھیں گے، پھر کہا جائے گا: کاش تم نے عمل کیا ہوتا! فرمایا: حسرت انہیں آ لے گی۔ اور جنت والے جہنم میں اپنا گھر دیکھیں گے تو کہا جائے گا: اگر اللہ تم پر فضل نہ فرماتا... فرمایا: پھر فرشتے، انبیاء، شہداء، صالحین اور مومنین شفاعت کریں گے اور اللہ ان کی شفاعت قبول فرمائے گا۔ پھر اللہ فرمائے گا: میں سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والا ہوں — تو وہ اپنی رحمت سے جہنم سے اتنے نکالے گا جتنے تمام مخلوق نے مل کر نکالے ہوں گے اس سے بھی زیادہ۔ پھر فرمائے گا: میں سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والا ہوں۔ پھر عبد اللہ نے تلاوت فرمائی: ﴿تمہیں کس چیز نے جہنم میں ڈالا؟ انہوں نے کہا: ہم نماز پڑھنے والوں میں سے نہ تھے، مسکینوں کو کھانا نہ کھلاتے تھے، باطل میں مشغول رہنے والوں کے ساتھ مشغول رہتے تھے، اور یومِ جزا کو جھٹلاتے تھے﴾۔ عبد اللہ نے اپنے ہاتھ سے چار گنے اور فرمایا: کیا تم ان میں کوئی خیر دیکھتے ہو؟ اس میں کوئی ایسا نہیں جائے گا جس میں خیر ہو۔ جب اللہ عزوجل چاہے گا کہ اب کوئی اور نہ نکلے تو ان کے چہرے اور رنگ بدل دے گا۔ ایک شخص آئے گا اور دیکھے گا مگر کسی کو نہ پہچانے گا۔ ایک شخص اسے پکارے گا: اے فلاں! میں فلاں ہوں! وہ کہے گا: میں تجھے نہیں پہچانتا۔ اس وقت وہ کہیں گے: ﴿اے ہمارے رب! ہمیں یہاں سے نکال دے، اگر ہم پھر (برائی کی طرف) لوٹے تو ہم ظالم ہیں﴾۔ اس وقت فرمائے گا: ﴿دور ہو جاؤ اس میں اور مجھ سے بات نہ کرو﴾۔ جب یہ فرمائے گا تو ان پر (جہنم) بند کر دی جائے گی اور ان میں سے کوئی بشر نہیں نکلے گا۔

ابو الزعراء سے روایت ہے، فرماتے ہیں: ہم حضرت عبد اللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے پاس تھے کہ دجال کا ذکر ہوا۔ حضرت عبد اللہ بن مسعود نے فرمایا: اس کے نکلنے پر لوگ تین گروہوں میں بٹ جائیں گے: ایک گروہ اس کی پیروی کرے گا، ایک گروہ اپنے آبائی علاقے کی طرف جائے گا — جہاں شیح (جنگلی بوٹی) اُگتی ہے — اور ایک گروہ فرات کے کنارے جم جائے گا۔ وہ ان سے لڑے گا اور وہ اس سے لڑیں گے یہاں تک کہ مومنین شام کے قصبوں میں جمع ہوں گے۔ وہ ان کی طرف ایک جاسوس دستہ بھیجیں گے جن میں ایک سوار سرخ یا ابلق گھوڑے پر ہوگا۔ فرمایا: وہ لڑیں گے اور ان میں سے ایک بھی زندہ واپس نہیں آئے گا۔ سلمہ نے کہا: مجھے ابو صادق نے ربیعہ بن ناجذ سے بیان کیا کہ عبد اللہ بن مسعود نے فرمایا: سرخ گھوڑا۔ عبد اللہ نے فرمایا: اہل کتاب کا دعویٰ ہے کہ مسیح ان کے پاس نازل ہوں گے۔ فرمایا: میں نے انہیں اہل کتاب سے اس کے علاوہ بھی ایک روایت بیان کرتے سنا۔ پھر یاجوج و ماجوج نکلیں گے اور زمین میں فساد مچائیں گے۔ پھر عبد اللہ نے تلاوت فرمائی: ﴿اور وہ ہر بلندی سے دوڑتے ہوئے آئیں گے﴾۔ فرمایا: پھر اللہ ان پر ناک کے کیڑوں جیسی مخلوق بھیجے گا جو ان کے کانوں اور ناکوں میں گھسے گی اور وہ مر جائیں گے۔ زمین ان کی بدبو سے سڑ جائے گی تو اللہ سے فریاد کی جائے گی اور وہ پانی بھیجے گا جو زمین کو ان سے پاک کرے گا۔ فرمایا: پھر اللہ ایک سرد، یخ بستہ ہوا بھیجے گا جو زمین پر کسی مومن کو نہیں چھوڑے گی مگر اس کی جان لے لے گی۔ فرمایا: پھر بدترین لوگوں پر قیامت آئے گی۔ پھر ایک فرشتہ آسمان اور زمین کے درمیان صور لے کر کھڑا ہوگا اور اس میں پھونکے گا — اور صور ایک سینگ ہے — تو آسمانوں اور زمین میں کوئی مخلوق زندہ نہ بچے گی سوائے جسے تمہارا رب چاہے۔ پھر دو پھونکوں کے درمیان اتنا وقفہ ہوگا جتنا اللہ چاہے، اور بنی آدم میں سے ہر ایک کا کچھ نہ کچھ باقی رہے گا۔ فرمایا: اللہ عرش کے نیچے سے مردوں کے مادے جیسا پانی بھیجے گا اور اس پانی سے ان کا گوشت اور جسم اُگے گا جیسے بارش سے زمین سے سبزہ اُگتا ہے۔ پھر عبد اللہ نے تلاوت فرمائی: ﴿اللہ وہ ہے جس نے ہوائیں بھیجیں، پھر وہ بادل اٹھاتی ہیں، پھر ہم نے اسے مردہ شہر کی طرف ہانکا، پھر اس سے زمین کو اس کی موت کے بعد زندہ کیا۔ اسی طرح دوبارہ اٹھنا ہوگا﴾۔ فرمایا: پھر ایک فرشتہ صور لے کر آسمان و زمین کے درمیان کھڑا ہوگا اور پھونکے گا تو ہر روح اپنے جسم کی طرف جائے گی اور اس میں داخل ہوگی، پھر وہ کھڑے ہوں گے اور ایک شخص کی طرح زندہ ہو کر رب العالمین کے حضور قیام کریں گے۔ فرمایا: پھر اللہ تعالیٰ مخلوق کے سامنے تجلی فرمائے گا اور ان سے ملاقات کرے گا۔ جو کوئی بھی اللہ کے سوا کسی اور کی عبادت کرتا تھا اس کے لیے وہ معبود بلند کیا جائے گا اور وہ اس کے پیچھے چلے گا۔ یہودیوں سے ملاقات ہوگی اور پوچھا جائے گا: تم کس کی عبادت کرتے تھے؟ وہ کہیں گے: عزیر کی۔ فرمائے گا: کیا تمہیں پانی اچھا لگتا ہے؟ وہ کہیں گے: ہاں — تب انہیں جہنم سراب کی شکل میں دکھائی جائے گی۔ پھر عبد اللہ نے تلاوت فرمائی: ﴿اور ہم نے اس دن کافروں کے سامنے جہنم کو کھول کر پیش کر دیا﴾۔ پھر نصاریٰ سے ملاقات ہوگی اور پوچھا جائے گا: تم کس کی عبادت کرتے تھے؟ وہ کہیں گے: مسیح کی۔ فرمائے گا: کیا تمہیں پانی اچھا لگتا ہے؟ وہ کہیں گے: ہاں — تو انہیں جہنم سراب کی شکل میں دکھائی جائے گی۔ اسی طرح ہر اس شخص کو جو اللہ کے سوا کسی اور کی عبادت کرتا تھا۔ پھر عبد اللہ نے تلاوت فرمائی: ﴿انہیں روکو! ان سے پوچھا جائے گا﴾۔ فرمایا: پھر اللہ تعالیٰ مخلوق کے سامنے تجلی فرمائے گا اور مسلمانوں کے پاس سے گزرے گا۔ فرمائے گا: تم کس کی عبادت کرتے ہو؟ وہ کہیں گے: ہم اللہ کی عبادت کرتے ہیں اور اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہیں ٹھہراتے۔ انہیں دو یا تین بار ڈانٹ کر پوچھے گا: تم کس کی عبادت کرتے ہو؟ وہ کہیں گے: ہم اللہ کی عبادت کرتے ہیں اور اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہیں ٹھہراتے۔ فرمائے گا: کیا تم اپنے رب کو پہچانتے ہو؟ وہ کہیں گے: سبحان اللہ! جب وہ ہمارے سامنے آئے گا تو ہم پہچان لیں گے۔ فرمایا: اس وقت پنڈلی کھولی جائے گی اور ہر مومن اللہ کے سامنے سجدے میں گر جائے گا، اور منافقین کی پیٹھیں ایک تختے کی طرح اکڑی رہیں گی گویا ان میں سیخیں ہیں۔ وہ کہیں گے: ہمارے رب! وہ فرمائے گا: تمہیں سجدے کے لیے بلایا جاتا تھا جب تم صحیح سالم تھے۔ فرمایا: پھر پل کا حکم دیا جائے گا جو جہنم پر رکھا جائے گا اور لوگ اپنے اعمال کے مطابق گروہوں میں گزریں گے — کچھ بجلی کی چمک کی طرح، پھر ہوا کی طرح، پھر پرندوں کی طرح، پھر تیز ترین جانوروں کی طرح، اسی طرح یہاں تک کہ آدمی دوڑتے ہوئے گزرے، پھر چلتے ہوئے، پھر ان میں آخری شخص اپنے پیٹ پر لوٹتے ہوئے گزرے۔ وہ کہے گا: اے میرے رب! تو نے مجھے کیوں دیر کر دی؟ فرمائے گا: میں نے تجھے دیر نہیں کی، تیرے عمل نے تجھے دیر کر دی۔ فرمایا: پھر اللہ تعالیٰ شفاعت کی اجازت دے گا۔ سب سے پہلا شفاعت کرنے والا روح القدس جبرئیل علیہ الصلوٰۃ والسلام ہوں گے، پھر ابراہیم خلیل اللہ، پھر موسیٰ، پھر عیسیٰ علیہم الصلوٰۃ والسلام۔ فرمایا: پھر تمہارے نبی چوتھے نمبر پر کھڑے ہوں گے — ان کے بعد کوئی اتنی شفاعت نہ کر سکے گا جتنی وہ کریں گے — اور یہی مقامِ محمود ہے جس کا اللہ تبارک و تعالیٰ نے ذکر فرمایا: ﴿عنقریب تیرا رب تجھے مقامِ محمود پر کھڑا کرے گا﴾۔ فرمایا: ہر نفس جنت میں ایک گھر یا جہنم میں ایک گھر دیکھے گا۔ فرمایا: یہی یومِ حسرت ہے۔ جہنم والے جنت میں اپنا گھر دیکھیں گے، پھر کہا جائے گا: کاش تم نے عمل کیا ہوتا! فرمایا: حسرت انہیں آ لے گی۔ اور جنت والے جہنم میں اپنا گھر دیکھیں گے تو کہا جائے گا: اگر اللہ تم پر فضل نہ فرماتا... فرمایا: پھر فرشتے، انبیاء، شہداء، صالحین اور مومنین شفاعت کریں گے اور اللہ ان کی شفاعت قبول فرمائے گا۔ پھر اللہ فرمائے گا: میں سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والا ہوں — تو وہ اپنی رحمت سے جہنم سے اتنے نکالے گا جتنے تمام مخلوق نے مل کر نکالے ہوں گے اس سے بھی زیادہ۔ پھر فرمائے گا: میں سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والا ہوں۔ پھر عبد اللہ نے تلاوت فرمائی: ﴿تمہیں کس چیز نے جہنم میں ڈالا؟ انہوں نے کہا: ہم نماز پڑھنے والوں میں سے نہ تھے، مسکینوں کو کھانا نہ کھلاتے تھے، باطل میں مشغول رہنے والوں کے ساتھ مشغول رہتے تھے، اور یومِ جزا کو جھٹلاتے تھے﴾۔ عبد اللہ نے اپنے ہاتھ سے چار گنے اور فرمایا: کیا تم ان میں کوئی خیر دیکھتے ہو؟ اس میں کوئی ایسا نہیں جائے گا جس میں خیر ہو۔ جب اللہ عزوجل چاہے گا کہ اب کوئی اور نہ نکلے تو ان کے چہرے اور رنگ بدل دے گا۔ ایک شخص آئے گا اور دیکھے گا مگر کسی کو نہ پہچانے گا۔ ایک شخص اسے پکارے گا: اے فلاں! میں فلاں ہوں! وہ کہے گا: میں تجھے نہیں پہچانتا۔ اس وقت وہ کہیں گے: ﴿اے ہمارے رب! ہمیں یہاں سے نکال دے، اگر ہم پھر (برائی کی طرف) لوٹے تو ہم ظالم ہیں﴾۔ اس وقت فرمائے گا: ﴿دور ہو جاؤ اس میں اور مجھ سے بات نہ کرو﴾۔ جب یہ فرمائے گا تو ان پر (جہنم) بند کر دی جائے گی اور ان میں سے کوئی بشر نہیں نکلے گا۔
