Hadrat Amr ibn Awf al-Muzani (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: I heard the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) saying: The world will not end — O Ali ibn Abi Talib! Hadrat Ali (may Allah ennoble his countenance) said: At your service, O Messenger of Allah! He stated: Know that you will fight the Banu al-Asfar (Romans) — or those after you from the believers will fight them. The finest of the believers, the people of Hijaz, will march against them — those who strive in the path of Allah without fearing the blame of any blamer — until Allah (glorified and exalted is He) opens Constantinople and Rome for them through glorification and magnification of Allah. Their fortress will collapse and they will obtain spoils the like of which they have never obtained, until they divide them by the shield. Then a crier will cry: O people of Islam, the Messiah Dajjal has emerged in your lands and among your families! People will scatter from the wealth — some taking and some leaving — the taker will regret and the one who left will regret. They will say: Who is this crier? They will not know who he is. They will say: Send scouts to Ludd. If the Messiah has emerged, they will bring you news. They will go and look but see nothing, seeing the people in doubt. They will say: The crier cried only for news — so resolve then be guided. They will resolve to march together to Ludd. If the Messiah Dajjal is there, they will fight him until Allah judges between them — and He is the best of judges. If it is the other matter, then it is your lands, your clans, and your armies you have returned to. Kathir is unreliable.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت عمرو بن عوف مزنی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: دنیا ختم نہ ہوگی — اے علی بن ابی طالب! حضرت علی المرتضیٰ کرّم اللہ تعالیٰ وجہہ الکریم نے عرض کیا: لبیک یا رسول اللہ! ارشاد فرمایا: جان لو کہ تم بنو اصفر (رومیوں) سے لڑو گے — یا تمہارے بعد مومنین ان سے لڑیں گے۔ اہلِ حجاز کے بہترین مومنین ان کے مقابلے نکلیں گے — جو اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کرتے ہیں اور کسی ملامت کرنے والے کی ملامت سے نہیں ڈرتے — یہاں تک کہ اللہ عزوجل ان کے لیے قسطنطنیہ اور رومیہ کو تسبیح و تکبیر سے فتح فرما دے۔ اس کا قلعہ ٹوٹ جائے گا اور وہ اتنی غنیمت پائیں گے جتنی کبھی نہیں پائی، یہاں تک کہ ڈھال سے تقسیم کریں گے۔ پھر ایک پکارنے والا پکارے گا: اے اہلِ اسلام! مسیح دجال تمہارے ملکوں اور تمہاری اولاد میں نکل آیا ہے! لوگ مال سے منتشر ہوں گے — کچھ لے لیں گے کچھ چھوڑ دیں گے — لینے والا پچھتائے گا اور چھوڑنے والا پچھتائے گا۔ وہ کہیں گے: یہ پکارنے والا کون ہے؟ وہ نہیں جانیں گے۔ کہیں گے: لُدّ کی طرف جاسوس بھیجو۔ اگر مسیح نکلا ہے تو وہ خبر لائیں گے۔ وہ جائیں گے اور دیکھیں گے لیکن کچھ نہ دیکھیں گے اور لوگوں کو شک میں پائیں گے۔ کہیں گے: پکارنے والے نے بلا وجہ نہیں پکارا — عزم کرو پھر رشد پاؤ۔ وہ عزم کریں گے کہ سب مل کر لُدّ نکلیں۔ اگر وہاں مسیح دجال ہے تو اس سے لڑیں گے یہاں تک کہ اللہ ہمارے اور اس کے درمیان فیصلہ فرمائے — اور وہ بہترین فیصلہ کرنے والا ہے۔ اور اگر دوسرا معاملہ ہے تو یہ تمہارے ملک، تمہارے قبائل اور تمہارے لشکر ہیں جن کی طرف تم لوٹ آئے ہو۔ کثیر ضعیف ہے۔
