Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aisha (may Allah be well pleased with her) narrated: "Mariyah was gifted to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), and with her was a male cousin of hers. He was intimate with her once and she became pregnant. He then placed her with her cousin. The slanderers and liars said: 'Out of his desire for a child, he has claimed the child of another.' His mother had little milk, so she bought a milking ewe and he was fed its milk, which made his flesh healthy." Hadrat Aisha (may Allah be well pleased with her) said: "One day he was brought to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), who stated: 'What do you think?' I submitted: 'Whoever is fed sheep's meat will have healthy flesh.' He stated: 'Not even the resemblance?' She said: Jealousy carried me as it carries women, so I said: 'I see no resemblance.' She said: When the talk of the people reached the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), he said to Hadrat Ali al-Murtada (may Allah ennoble his countenance): 'Take this sword and go strike the neck of the cousin of Mariyah wherever you find him.' She said: He went and found him in a garden, on a palm tree, picking fresh dates. When he saw Hadrat Ali al-Murtada (may Allah ennoble his countenance) with the sword, trembling seized him and his cloth fell, and behold — Allah, the Exalted, had not created for him what men have; he was completely smooth."
اردو ترجمہ
اُمّ المؤمنین حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے: "ماریہ حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو ہدیہ کی گئیں اور ان کے ساتھ ان کا ایک چچا زاد بھائی تھا۔ آپ ایک بار ان کے پاس گئے تو وہ حاملہ ہو گئیں۔ آپ نے انہیں ان کے چچا زاد کے پاس رکھ دیا۔ اہل افک اور جھوٹ بولنے والوں نے کہا: اولاد کی ضرورت کی وجہ سے دوسرے کے بچے کا دعویٰ کیا۔ ان کی والدہ کا دودھ کم تھا تو انہوں نے ایک دودھ والی بھیڑ خریدی جس کے دودھ سے پالا جاتا تھا اور اس کا جسم صحت مند ہو گیا۔" حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے فرمایا: ایک دن انہیں حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس لایا گیا۔ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: تمہیں کیسا لگتا ہے؟ میں نے عرض کیا: جسے بھیڑ کے گوشت سے پالا جائے اس کا جسم اچھا ہوتا ہے۔ آپ نے فرمایا: مشابہت بھی نہیں؟ فرمایا: مجھے غیرت نے مجبور کیا جیسے عورتوں کو ہوتی ہے، میں نے کہا: مجھے تو کوئی مشابہت نظر نہیں آتی۔ فرمایا: جب لوگوں کی باتیں حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم تک پہنچیں تو آپ نے حضرت علی المرتضیٰ کرّم اللہ تعالیٰ وجہہ الکریم سے ارشاد فرمایا: یہ تلوار لو اور جاؤ، ماریہ کے چچا زاد کی گردن مارو جہاں بھی ملے۔ وہ گئے تو دیکھا کہ وہ ایک باغ میں کھجور کے درخت پر تازہ کھجوریں توڑ رہا تھا۔ جب اس نے حضرت علی المرتضیٰ کرّم اللہ تعالیٰ وجہہ الکریم کو تلوار لیے دیکھا تو اسے کپکپی آ گئی اور اس کا کپڑا گر گیا تو معلوم ہوا کہ اللہ عزوجل نے اس کے لیے وہ نہیں بنایا جو مردوں کے لیے بنایا — وہ بالکل مسح شدہ تھا۔"
