ثنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ «إِذَا كَانَ نَفَرٌ ثَلَاثَةٌ فَلْيُؤَمِّرُوا أَحَدَهُمْ ذَاكَ أَمِيرٌ أَمَّرَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be well pleased with him) stated: 'When there are three people in a group, let them appoint one of them as their leader. That is a commander whom the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) appointed.' This is an authentic hadith according to the conditions of both shaykhs, though neither of them narrated it.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت عمر بن الخطاب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے فرمایا: جب تین آدمی ہوں تو ان میں سے ایک کو امیر بنائیں۔ یہ وہ امارت ہے جو سرکارِ دو عالم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے مقرر فرمائی۔ یہ حدیث شیخین کی شرط پر صحیح ہے مگر دونوں نے اسے روایت نہیں کیا۔
