حَدَّثَنَاإِسْحَاق بْنُ عِيسَى، عَنْصَالِحٍ الْمُرِّيِّ، عَنْقَتَادَةَ، عَنْزُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى: أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ: أَيُّ الْعَمَلِ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ:الْحَالُّ الْمُرْتَحِلُ"، قِيلَ: وَمَا الْحَالُّ الْمُرْتَحِلُ؟ قَالَ: صَاحِبُ الْقُرْآنِ يَضْرِبُ مِنْ أَوَّلِ الْقُرْآنِ إِلَى آخِرِهِ، وَمِنْ آخِرِهِ إِلَى أَوَّلِهِ، كُلَّمَا حَلَّ، ارْتَحَلَ".
انگریزی ترجمہ
Al-Hasan (al-Basri) said about the bearer of the Quran: "He is the one who knows what is lawful and what is forbidden, the commandments and the prohibitions. He preserves what Allah has placed in his care, and he establishes the obligations of Allah. He is indifferent to worldly pleasures but eager for what lies beyond them. He is more mindful of his sins, holds back his desires for the sake of the Hereafter, and knows that his provision is guaranteed. He is at peace with Allah, and with that peace he strives — whenever he finishes, he starts again."
اردو ترجمہ
زرارہ بن ابی اوفی سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے دریافت کیا گیا: کون سا عمل افضل ہے؟ فرمایا:”پڑاو ڈالنا اور کوچ کرنا“، پوچھا گیا: یہ کیا ہے؟ فرمایا:”قرآن پڑھنے والا شروع سے آخر تک پڑھتا ہے (یہ شروع کرنا حال ہے)، پھر ختم کر کے دوبارہ شروع کرنا (ارتحال) ہے، جب بھی ختم کرے پھر شروع کر دے۔“[سنن دارمي/من كتاب فضائل القرآن /حدیث: 3508]
