وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ - رضى الله عنه - أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { لَا تَدْفِنُوا مَوْتَاكُمْ بِاللَّيْلِ إِلَّا أَنْ تُضْطَرُّوا } أَخْرَجَهُ ابْنُ مَاجَه ْ 1 . وَأَصْلُهُ فِي "مُسْلِمٍ", لَكِنْ قَالَ: زَجَرَ أَنْ يُقْبَرَ اَلرَّجُلُ بِاللَّيْلِ, حَتَّى يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ.1 - صحيح. رواه ابن ماجه ( 1521 ).
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Jabir bin Hadrat 'Abdullah (RAA) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated:"Do not bury your dead during the night unless you have to do so." Related by Ibn Majah. Muslim reported a similar narration, but Hadrat Jabir said in his narration, ‘The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) disapproved that someone is buried at night, unless the funeral prayer has been offered for him.’
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت جابر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: اپنے مُردوں کو رات کو دفن نہ کرو الّا یہ کہ مجبوری ہو۔ (ابن ماجہ، اور اس کی اصل مسلم میں ہے)
