انگریزی ترجمہ
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "A Bedouin came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and pledged allegiance to Islam. The next day he came with a fever and said: 'Cancel my pledge.' The Prophet (peace be upon him) refused three times, then said: 'Madinah is like a furnace — it expels its impurities and retains what is pure and good.'"
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہایک اعرابی نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس آیا اور اس نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے اسلام پر بیعت کی پھر وہ دوسرے دن بخار میں مبتلا ہو کر آیا اور کہنے لگا کہ آپ اپنی بیعت واپس لے لیجئیے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے تین مرتبہ انکار فرمایا اس کے بعد فرمایا:”مدینہ مثل بھٹی کے ہے جو میل کچیل کو نکال دیتی ہے اور عمدہ اور خالص رکھ لیتی ہے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 916]
