انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said (before the Hijrah): "I have been commanded to migrate to a town that will dominate all other towns. They call it Yathrib — it is Madinah. It expels bad people just as a furnace removes the impurities from iron."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے (ہجرت سے پہلے) فرمایا:”مجھے ایک ایسی بستی میں جانے کا حکم ہوا ہے جو تمام بستیوں پر غالب ہے اس کو”یثرب“کہتے ہیں وہ مدینہ ہے (برے) آدمیوں کو اس طرح نکال دیتا ہے جیسے بھٹی لوہے کے میل کو نکال دیتی ہے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 905]
