Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: "When the mu'adhdhin would stand to call the adhan for Fajr and dawn had appeared, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would pray two light rak'ahs before the iqamah was called for the obligatory prayer."
اردو ترجمہ
ام المؤمنین حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم(کی عادت مبارکہ تھی کہ) جب مؤذن صبح کی اذن کہنے کھڑا ہو جاتا اور صبح کی اذان ہو جاتی تو دو رکعتیں ہلکی سی فرض کی اقامت (تکبیر) ہونے سے پہلے پڑھ لیتے تھے۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 380]
