انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Salamah ibn al-Akwa' (may Allah be pleased with him): He went to al-Hajjaj ibn Yusuf, and al-Hajjaj said to him, "O son of al-Akwa'! Have you turned back on your heels (from the emigration you had made to Medina), that you (leaving Medina) are going to live in the desert?" He said, "No, rather the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) had commanded me to live in the desert."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا سلمہ بن اکوع رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہوہ حجاج بن یوسف کے پاس گئے، حجاج نے ان سے کہا کہ اے اکوع کے بیٹے! کیا تم (ہجرت سے جو تم نے مدینہ میں کی تھی) پچھلے پیروں پھر گئے جو (مدینہ کو چھوڑ کر) جنگل میں جا رہے ہو؟ انھوں نے کہا نہیں بلکہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے مجھ کو جنگل میں رہنے کا حکم دے دیا تھا۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2193]
