انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "No one will be saved by his deeds (rather, it will be by Allah's mercy)." The people asked: "Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?" The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Yes, not even me, unless Allah the Exalted envelops me in His mercy." And he said: "Act with moderation, and seek nearness to Allah, and worship in the morning and the evening and in the last part of the night. Acting with moderation will bring you to the desired destination (that is, Paradise)."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ راوی ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”کسی بھی شخص کو اس کے عملوں کی وجہ سے نجات نہ ہو گی (بلکہ اللہ کی رحمت سے ہو گی)۔“لوگوں نے پوچھا کہ کیا آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو بھی نہیں؟ تو رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”ہاں! مجھے بھی نہیں مگر یہ کہ اللہ کے تعالیٰ کی رحمت مجھ کو ڈھانپ لے۔“اور فرمایا:”میانہ روی سے عمل کرو اور اللہ سے قربت حاصل کرو اور صبح و شام اور پچھلی رات میں عبادت کرو اور میانہ روی سے عمل کرنا تمہیں منزل مقصود (یعنی جنت) تک پہنچا دے گا۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2104]
