انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "All of my nation (their sins) will be forgiven except those who commit sins openly (they are not deserving of forgiveness). And committing sins openly is that a person does some sinful act during the night, and in the morning — though Allah had concealed it for him — he goes about (telling people): 'O so-and-so! Last night I did such and such,' even though his Lord had concealed it for him during the night, but in the morning he removes Allah's covering from himself."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنا، فرماتے تھے:”میری ساری امت (کے گناہ) معاف ہیں مگر اعلانیہ گناہ کرنے والے (معافی کے مستحق نہیں ہیں) اور اعلانیہ کرنے کی یہ بات ہے کہ رات کو کوئی شخص کوئی گناہ کا کام کرے اور صبح کو، باوجود یہ کہ اللہ نے اس کی پردہ پوشی کی ہو مگر وہ (لوگوں سے) کہتا پھرے کہ اے فلاں! میں نے رات کو ایسا ایسا (کام) کیا حالانکہ رات کو اس کے پروردگار نے اس کی پردہ پوشی کی تھی مگر صبح کو اللہ کے پردہ کو اس نے اپنے اوپر سے اٹھا دیا۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2037]
