انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated from the Commander of the Faithful, Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade silken cloth except for this much—then he (peace be upon him) joined his index and middle fingers together and showed (that is, the width of two fingers is permissible). By this he meant the border or embroidery of a garment.
اردو ترجمہ
امیرالمؤمنین عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ریشمی کپڑے سے منع فرمایا ہے مگر اس قدر پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اپنی شہادت کی اور درمیانی والی دونوں انگلیوں کو ملا کر دکھایا (یعنی بقدر دو انگلیوں کی چوڑان کے جائز ہے) وہ اس سے کپڑے کا حاشیہ یا بیل بوٹے مراد لے رہے تھے۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1988]
