انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated from Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) that he had seven cauterization marks on his body, and he used to say: My companions departed from this world before me, and the world was not able to diminish their reward (because they were not preoccupied with the world). But as for us, we now have so much wealth that we find no place to keep it except in the earth. And had the Prophet (peace be upon him) not forbidden us from asking for death, I would surely have prayed for death.
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا خباب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہانھوں نے اپنے بدن پر سات داغ دے رکھے تھے اور کہتے تھے کہ میرے ساتھی مجھ سے پہلے دنیا سے رخصت ہو گئے اور دنیا، ان کا اجر و ثواب کم نہ کر سکی (کیونکہ وہ دنیا میں مشغول نہ تھے) اور ہمارے پاس (اب) اس قدر مال ہے کہ اس کے رکھنے کی جگہ سوائے مٹی کے ہمیں اور نہیں ملتی اور اگر نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمہمیں موت کے مانگنے سے منع فرماتے تو میں ضرور موت کی دعا مانگتا۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1959]
