انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated from Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that he came to the door of the platform (in the mosque of Kufa) and drank while standing, then said: Indeed, some people regard drinking water while standing as disliked, whereas I myself saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) drinking in the same way that you saw me drinking.
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہوہ (کوفہ کی مسجد میں اس کے) چبوترے کے دروازے پر آئے اور کھڑے کھڑے پیا پھر کہا کہ بیشک کچھ لوگ اس طرح کھڑے ہو کر پانی پینے کو مکروہ سمجھتے ہیں حالانکہ میں نے خود نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو اسی طرح پیتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے جس طرح تم نے مجھے پیتے ہوئے دیکھا۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1941]
