Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "The interval between the two blasts of the Trumpet is forty." The people said to Abu Hurayrah, "Forty days?" He said, "I cannot say." (The questioner) said, "Forty years?" He said, "I cannot say." (The questioner) said, "Forty months?" He said, "I cannot say." (And he said, referring to the grave:) "Every part of a man's body decays except the tailbone, and from it (the tailbone) the entire body of man will be reassembled (again)."
