انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The truly poor person (miskeen) is not the one who is turned away with a date or two, or a morsel or two. Rather, the truly poor person (as mentioned in the Quran) is the one who refrains from begging." If you want to understand the meaning of miskeen, read the verse: "They do not beg people persistently." (Al-Baqarah: 273)
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”مسکین وہ نہیں ہے جو ایک کھجور یا دو کھجور یا ایک لقمہ یا دو لقمے لے کر چل دیتا ہو بلکہ مسکین (جس کا ذکر اس آیت میں ہے) وہ ہے جو سوال سے بچتا ہو۔“مسکین کا مطلب اگر تم سمجھنا چاہو تو یہ آیت“اور وہ لوگوں سے چمٹ کر سوال نہیں کرتے“پڑھو۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1723]
