انگریزی ترجمہ
In another narration, Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) said after performing ablution: "I will narrate a hadith to you; were it not for a verse in the Quran, I would not have told it to you." I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "Whoever performs ablution properly and then prays a prayer, all his sins committed between that prayer and the next will be forgiven." Urwah said the verse referred to is from Surah al-Baqarah: "Those who conceal the clear proofs and guidance that We sent down..."
اردو ترجمہ
اور ایک دوسری حدیث میںامیرالمؤمنین عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ نے (وضو کرنے کے بعد) کہا کہ میں تم کو ایک حدیث سناتا ہوں، اگر قرآن کی ایک آیت نہ ہوتی تو میں تم کو یہ حدیث نہ سناتا۔ میں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنا کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”جو شخص اچھی طرح وضو کرے اور اس کے بعد نماز پڑھے (کوئی فرض نماز) تو جتنے گناہ اس نماز سے دوسری نماز پڑھنے تک ہوں گے، وہ معاف کر دیے جائیں گے۔“(عروہ نے) کہا کہ وہ آیت (سورۃ البقرہ کی) ہے”جو لوگ ہماری اتاری ہوئی آیتیں چھپاتے ہیں“.... آخر تک۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 129]
