حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ أُمَّ حُفَيْدٍ بِنْتَ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ حَزْنٍ، أَهْدَتْ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَمْنًا وَأَقِطًا وَأَضُبًّا، فَدَعَا بِهِنَّ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأُكِلْنَ عَلَى مَائِدَتِهِ، فَتَرَكَهُنَّ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَالْمُتَقَذِّرِ لَهُ، وَلَوْ كُنَّ حَرَامًا مَا أُكِلْنَ عَلَى مَائِدَتِهِ، وَلاَ أَمَرَ بِأَكْلِهِنَّ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Musa bin Isma'il narrated to us, he said Abu Awanah narrated to us, from Abu Bishr, from Sa'id bin Jubayr (upon him be mercy), from Hadrat Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) who said: Umm Hufayd bint al-Harith bin Hazn sent ghee, dried cheese, and lizards as a gift to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) called for them, and they were eaten at his table. However, the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) left them (the lizards) aside as though he found them distasteful. Had they been forbidden, they would not have been eaten at his table, nor would he have permitted their consumption.
اردو ترجمہ
ہم سے موسیٰ بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے حضرت ابوعوانہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوبشر نے، ان سے سعید بن جبیر رحمۃ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ نے اور ان سے حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ ام حفید بنت حارث بن حزن نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں گھی، پنیر اور گوہ (سانڈوں) ہدیہ بھیجے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے انہیں منگوایا اور آپ کے دسترخوان پر کھائے گئے، لیکن نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے انہیں (گوہ کو) ایسے چھوڑ دیا جیسے انہیں ناپسند فرمایا۔ اگر وہ حرام ہوتیں تو آپ کے دسترخوان پر کھائی نہ جاتیں اور نہ آپ کھانے کا حکم فرماتے۔
