حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ {وَمَا جَعَلْنَا الرُّؤْيَا الَّتِي أَرَيْنَاكَ إِلاَّ فِتْنَةً لِلنَّاسِ} قَالَ هِيَ رُؤْيَا عَيْنٍ أُرِيَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِهِ {وَالشَّجَرَةَ الْمَلْعُونَةَ} شَجَرَةُ الزَّقُّومِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated by Hadrat Ibn `Abbas that Regarding: 'And We granted the vision (Ascension to the Heaven "Miraj") which We showed you (O Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) as an actual eye witness) but as a trial for mankind.' (17.60) It was an actual eyewitness which was shown to Allah's Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) during the night he was taken on a journey (through the heavens). And the cursed tree is the tree of Az-Zaqqum (a bitter pungent tree which grows at the bottom of Hell)
اردو ترجمہ
ہم سے علی بن عبداللہ مدینی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے عمرو بن دینار نے، ان سے عکرمہ نے اور ان سے حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ آیت «وما جعلنا الرؤيا التي أريناك إلا فتنة للناس» میں «رؤيا» سے آنکھ کا دیکھنا مراد ہے ( بیداری میں نہ کہ خواب میں ) یعنی وہ جو نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو شب معراج میں دکھایا گیا اور «شجرة الملعونة» سے تھوہڑ کا درخت مراد ہے۔
