حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ كَمْ غَزَوْتَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ. قُلْتُ كَمْ غَزَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ تِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated by Abu Ishaq that I asked Hadrat Zaid bin al-Arqam (may Allah be well pleased with him), 'In how many battles did you participate in the company of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)?' He replied, 'Seventeen.' I submitted, 'How many battles did the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) fight?' He replied, 'Nineteen battles.'
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابواسحاق سے روایت ہے کہ مَیں نے حضرت زید بن ارقم رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے پوچھا: آپ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ کتنے غزوے کیے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: سترہ۔ مَیں نے عرض کیا: نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے کتنے غزوے کیے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: انیس غزوے۔
