حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَجَعَ مِنْ غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ فَدَنَا مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ فَقَالَ " إِنَّ بِالْمَدِينَةِ أَقْوَامًا مَا سِرْتُمْ مَسِيرًا وَلاَ قَطَعْتُمْ وَادِيًا إِلاَّ كَانُوا مَعَكُمْ ". قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَهُمْ بِالْمَدِينَةِ قَالَ " وَهُمْ بِالْمَدِينَةِ، حَبَسَهُمُ الْعُذْرُ ".
انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated by Hadrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) returned from the Battle of Tabuk, and when he approached Medina, he stated, 'There are some people in Medina who were with you all the time; you did not travel any portion of the journey nor cross any valley but they were with you.' They submitted, 'O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! Even though they stayed in Medina?' He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, 'Yes, they were held back by valid excuses (but their intention was to be with you).'
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم غزوۂ تبوک سے واپس ہوئے اور مدینے کے قریب پہنچے تو ارشاد فرمایا: مدینے میں کچھ لوگ ہیں جو ہر وقت تمہارے ساتھ رہے، تم نے کوئی سفر نہیں کیا اور کوئی وادی نہیں کاٹی مگر وہ تمہارے ساتھ تھے۔ صحابہ نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! کیا وہ مدینے میں رہتے ہوئے (ساتھ تھے)؟ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: ہاں، انہیں عذر نے روک لیا (مگر نیت ان کی ساتھ چلنے کی تھی)۔
