Hadrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates that we were talking about Hajjat-ul-Wada while the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was amongst us. We did not know what Hajjat-ul-Wada signified. The Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) praised Allah and then mentioned al-Masih ad-Dajjal and described him extensively, saying, 'Allah did not send any prophet but that prophet warned his nation of al-Masih ad-Dajjal. Nuh (upon him be peace) and the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)s following him (upon them be peace) warned their people of him. He will appear amongst you, O followers of Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), and if it happens that some of his qualities may be hidden from you, but your Lord's State is clear to you and not hidden from you.' He stated it thrice. 'Verily, your Lord is not blind in one eye, while he (i.e. ad-Dajjal) is blind in the right eye which looks like a grape bulging out of its cluster. Beware! Allah has made your blood and your properties sacred to one another like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this city of yours, in this month of yours.' The Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) added, 'Beware! Have I not conveyed Allah's Message to you?' They submitted, 'Yes.' He stated thrice, 'O Allah! Be witness for it.' Then he stated, 'Woe to you! (or said: May Allah be merciful to you!) Do not become disbelievers after me by cutting the necks of one another.'
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم حجۃ الوداع کے بارے میں باتیں کر رہے تھے اور حبیبِ کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ہمارے درمیان تشریف فرما تھے۔ ہمیں معلوم نہیں تھا کہ حجۃ الوداع کیا ہے۔ حبیبِ کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اللہ تعالیٰ کی حمد و ثنا بیان فرمائی پھر مسیح دجال کا ذکر فرمایا اور تفصیل سے اس کے بارے میں بیان فرمایا: اللہ تعالیٰ نے جو بھی نبی بھیجا اس نبی نے اپنی امت کو مسیح دجال سے خبردار کیا۔ حضرت نوح علیہ السلام اور ان کے بعد آنے والے انبیاء علیہم السلام نے اپنی قوموں کو اس سے ڈرایا۔ وہ تمہارے درمیان ظاہر ہوگا (اے محمد صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے متبعین!) اور اگر اس کی بعض صفات تم پر پوشیدہ رہیں تو تمہارے رب کی حالت تم پر پوشیدہ نہیں۔ آپ نے تین بار ارشاد فرمایا۔ بے شک تمہارا رب ایک آنکھ سے اندھا نہیں ہے جبکہ وہ (دجال) دائیں آنکھ سے اندھا ہے جو انگور کے دانے کی طرح ابھری ہوئی ہے۔ خبردار! اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمہارے خون اور تمہارے اموال کو ایک دوسرے پر اسی طرح حرام کیا ہے جیسے اس دن کی حرمت ہے، اس شہر میں، اس مہینے میں۔ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: خبردار! کیا میں نے اللہ کا پیغام تمہیں نہیں پہنچایا؟ لوگوں نے عرض کیا: جی ہاں۔ آپ نے تین بار ارشاد فرمایا: اے اللہ! گواہ رہ۔ پھر ارشاد فرمایا: تم پر افسوس! (یا فرمایا: اللہ تم پر رحم فرمائے!) میرے بعد کافر نہ ہو جانا کہ ایک دوسرے کی گردنیں مارنے لگو۔
