حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " رَأْسُ الْكُفْرِ نَحْوَ الْمَشْرِقِ، وَالْفَخْرُ وَالْخُيَلاَءُ فِي أَهْلِ الْخَيْلِ وَالإِبِلِ، وَالْفَدَّادِينَ أَهْلِ الْوَبَرِ، وَالسَّكِينَةُ فِي أَهْلِ الْغَنَمِ ".
انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated from Hadrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared: The root of disbelief is towards the East. Pride and arrogance are found among the owners of horses and camels, and among the loud-voiced bedouins — the tent-dwellers. And tranquility and dignity are found among the keepers of sheep.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: کفر کی جڑ مشرق کی سمت ہے۔ اور فخر و تکبّر گھوڑوں، اونٹوں اور چلّانے والے دیہاتیوں — یعنی اہلِ وَبَر (خانہ بدوش لوگوں) — میں ہے، اور سکینت و وقار بکریوں والوں میں ہے۔
