حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أُتِيَ بِشَرَابٍ، فَشَرِبَ مِنْهُ وَعَنْ يَمِينِهِ غُلاَمٌ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ الأَشْيَاخُ، فَقَالَ لِلْغُلاَمِ " أَتَأْذَنُ لِي أَنْ أُعْطِيَ هَؤُلاَءِ ". فَقَالَ الْغُلاَمُ لاَ وَاللَّهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لاَ أُوثِرُ بِنَصِيبِي مِنْكَ أَحَدًا. قَالَ فَتَلَّهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي يَدِهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated by Hadrat Sahl bin Sa'd as-Sa'idi (may Allah be well pleased with him) that a drink was brought to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and he drank from it. On his right side was a boy, and on his left were elderly men. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated to the boy: 'Do you permit me to give (the remainder) to these elders?' The boy submitted: 'No, by Allah, O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! I will not give precedence to anyone over myself for your share.' So the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) placed the bowl in the boy's hand.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت سہل بن سعد ساعدی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں مشروب پیش کیا گیا۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اس میں سے نوش فرمایا۔ آپ کی دائیں طرف ایک لڑکا تھا اور بائیں طرف بزرگ حضرات تھے۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے لڑکے سے ارشاد فرمایا: کیا تم مجھے اجازت دو گے کہ (باقی مشروب) ان بزرگوں کو دے دوں؟ لڑکے نے عرض کیا: نہیں، اللہ کی قسم! یا رسول اللہ! آپ کی جانب سے ملنے والے حصے پر میں کسی کو ترجیح نہیں دے سکتا۔ چنانچہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے وہ پیالہ اسی لڑکے کو عنایت فرما دیا۔
