وحدثناه عمرو بن علي قالَ حَدَّثَنا عبد الله بن مسلمة عن العمري عن الزهري عن عروة عن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت أصبحت أنا وحفصة صائمتين فأهدى لنا طعام والطعام يومئذ عزيز فأفطرنا فذكرنا ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فقال صوما يوما مكانه
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Aishah (may Allah be well pleased with her) narrated: I and Hafsah woke up fasting, then food was gifted to us and food was precious in those days, so we broke our fast. We mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), and he stated: «Fast a day in its place.»
