كتب إلي مُحَمَّد بن عبد الله المقرئ يخبر أن أباه عبد الله بن يَزِيد حدثه عن حمَّاد بن سَلَمة عن أيوب عن مُحَمَّد عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ثَلاثٌ مَنْ كُنَّ فيه فهو منافق وإن صام وصلى وزعم أنه مؤمن إذا حدث كذب وإذا اؤتمن خان وإذا وعد أخلفوهذا الحديثُ رواه غير المقرئ عن حماد عن داود عن ابن المسيب عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وأحسب أن المقرئ أخطأ فيه قَالَ ثَلاثٌ مَنْ كُنَّ فيه فهو منافق وإن صام وصلى وزعم أنه مؤمن إذا حدث كذب وإذا اؤتمن خان وإذا وعد أخلفوهذا الحديثُ رواه غير المقرئ عن حماد عن داود عن ابن المسيب عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وأحسب أن المقرئ أخطأ فيه
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Muqri' wrote to me, informing that his father Abdullah ibn Yazid narrated to him from Hammad ibn Salama from Ayyub from Muhammad from Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There are three qualities, whoever has them is a hypocrite even if he fasts and prays and claims he is a believer: when he speaks he lies, when he is entrusted he betrays, and when he promises he breaks his promise." And this hadith was narrated by others besides al-Muqri' from Hammad from Dawud from Ibn al-Musayyab from Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and I believe al-Muqri' erred in it.
