حَدَّثَنا إِسْحَاق بن سليمان البغدادي حَدَّثَنا بيان بن حمران حَدَّثَنا المفضل بن فضالة أخو مبارك بن فضالة عن ليث عن أبي رَزِين عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم من كفل يتيما له قرابة أو لا قرابة له فأنا وهو في الجنة كهاتين وضم أصبعيه ومن سعى على ثلاث بنات فهو في الجنة وكان له كأجر مجاهد فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ عز وجل صائما قائماوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نَعْلَمْهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا بهذا الإِسْنَاد والمفضل بن فضالة بصري مشهور وهم أخوة مبارك بن فضالة والمفضل بن فضالة وعبيد الرحمن بن فضالة الله عليه وسلم من كفل يتيما له قرابة أو لا قرابة له فأنا وهو في الجنة كهاتين وضم أصبعيه ومن سعى على ثلاث بنات فهو في الجنة وكان له كأجر مجاهد فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ عز وجل صائما قائماوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نَعْلَمْهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا بهذا الإِسْنَاد والمفضل بن فضالة بصري مشهور وهم أخوة مبارك بن فضالة والمفضل بن فضالة وعبيد الرحمن بن فضالة

Ishaq ibn Sulayman al-Baghdadi narrated to us: Bayan ibn Himran narrated to us: al-Mufaddal ibn Fadalah, the brother of Mubarak ibn Fadalah, narrated to us from Layth from Abu Razin from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever sponsors an orphan, whether related to him or not — I and he will be like these two in Paradise," and he brought his two fingers together. "And whoever strives for three daughters, he will be in Paradise and will have a reward like that of one who strives in the cause of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, fasting and praying." This hadith is not known to be narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) except through this chain. Al-Mufaddal ibn Fadalah was a well-known Basri, and they were brothers: Mubarak ibn Fadalah, al-Mufaddal ibn Fadalah, and Ubayd ar-Rahman ibn Fadalah.
