حدثنا مُحَمَّد بن علي البغدادي وإبراهيم بن نصر قال حدثنا أبو نعيم حَدَّثَنا معقل بن عبيد الله عن عَطَاء عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قال قد رفعه معقل مرة إلى النبي صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وقصر به أخرى قال الصدقة عن ظهر غنى واليد العليا خير من اليد السفلى وابدأ بمن تعولولا نعلم أسند معقل عن عَطَاء عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا هذا الحديث
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ali al-Baghdadi and Ibrahim ibn Nasr narrated to us, they stated: Abu Nu'aim narrated to us, Ma'qil ibn Ubaidullah narrated to us, from Ata', from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) — he stated: Ma'qil raised it once to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and stopped at it other times — who stated: «Charity is from surplus wealth. The upper hand is better than the lower hand. And begin with those you support.» We do not know that Ma'qil attributed any hadith from Ata' from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) except this one.
