وحَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّد بن هاشم حَدَّثَنا الحَسَن بن بشر حَدَّثَنا الحكم بن عبد الملك عن عاصم عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قال رأيت كأني على قليب أسقي فَجَاءَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَنَزَعَ ذَنُوبًا أَوْ ذَنُوبَيْنِ وَفِي نَزْعِهِ ضَعْفٌ وَاللَّهُ يَغْفِرُ لَهُ ثُمَّ جاء عمر فاستحالت غربا فلم أر عبقريا من الناس يفري فريههذا أو نحوه أو كما قال أنا أشك في لفظ أبي بكر اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قال رأيت كأني على قليب أسقي فَجَاءَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَنَزَعَ ذَنُوبًا أَوْ ذَنُوبَيْنِ وَفِي نَزْعِهِ ضَعْفٌ وَاللَّهُ يَغْفِرُ لَهُ ثُمَّ جاء عمر فاستحالت غربا فلم أر عبقريا من الناس يفري فريههذا أو نحوه أو كما قال أنا أشك في لفظ أبي بكر
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Hashim narrated to us, al-Hasan ibn Bishr narrated to us, al-Hakam ibn Abd al-Malik narrated to us from Asim from Abu Salih from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «I saw in a dream that I was drawing water at a well. Abu Bakr came and drew a bucket or two, and in his drawing there was weakness -- and may Allah forgive him. Then Umar came, and the bucket turned into a large one, and I have not seen any genius among people who could match his accomplishment.» This or something similar, or as he said -- I am in doubt about Abu Bakr's exact wording.
