حَدَّثنا بِشْر بن خالد العسكري قَال حَدَّثنا شبابة بن سوار قال أَخْبَرنا اللَّيْث عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ عمران بن أبي أنس عَن أَبِي سَلَمَة بْنِ عَبد الرَّحْمَنِ عَن أبي هُرَيرة أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم صلى فسلم في ركعتين فأدركه ذو الشمالين فقال يا رَسولَ اللهِ أنقصت الصلاة أم نسيت قال لم تنقص ولم أنس قال بلى والذي بعثك بالحق فقال النَّبِيّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أكما يقول ذو اليدين قالوا نعم يا رَسولَ اللهِ فصلى بالناس ركعتين عمرو بن دينار عَن أبي سلمة صلى فسلم في ركعتين فأدركه ذو الشمالين فقال يا رَسولَ اللهِ أنقصت الصلاة أم نسيت قال لم تنقص ولم أنس قال بلى والذي بعثك بالحق فقال النَّبِيّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أكما يقول ذو اليدين قالوا نعم يا رَسولَ اللهِ فصلى بالناس ركعتين عمرو بن دينار عَن أبي سلمة
انگریزی ترجمہ
Bishr ibn Khalid al-Askari narrated to us, he said: Shababah ibn Sawwar narrated to us, he said: al-Layth informed us from Yazid ibn Abi Habib from Imran ibn Abi Anas from Abu Salamah ibn Abd al-Rahman from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) prayed and gave the salutation after two units. Dhul-Shimalayn caught up with him and said: O Messenger of Allah, has the prayer been shortened or did you forget? He said: It has not been shortened nor did I forget. He said: Rather, by the One Who sent you with the truth, it has. So the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: «Is it as Dhul-Yadayn says?» They said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah. So he prayed two more units with the people.
