كتب إلي مُحَمد بن حُمَيد يذكر أن ابن المبارك حدثه عَن ابن لهيعة عَن أبي الأسود بن يسار عَن أبي صالح وهُو مولى الجندعيين عَن أبي هُرَيرة قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لا سبق إلاَّ في خف أو حافرولا نعلم اسند أَبُو صالح هذا إلاَّ عَن أبي هُرَيرة هذا الحديث ولاَ روى عنه إلاَّ سُلَيْمان بن يسار أبو صالح الساعدي عَن أبي هُرَيرة اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لا سبق إلاَّ في خف أو حافرولا نعلم اسند أَبُو صالح هذا إلاَّ عَن أبي هُرَيرة هذا الحديث ولاَ روى عنه إلاَّ سُلَيْمان بن يسار أبو صالح الساعدي عَن أبي هُرَيرة
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Humaid wrote to me mentioning that Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to him from Ibn Lahi'ah from Abu al-Aswad ibn Yasar from Abu Salih — who is the freed slave of the Junda'iyin — from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: «There is no racing prize except in (racing) camels or horses.» We do not know that this Abu Salih narrated in a connected chain from Abu Hurairah except this hadith, nor did anyone narrate from him except Sulaiman ibn Yasar. There is also Abu Salih al-Sa'idi who narrated from Abu Hurairah.
