حَدَّثَنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَال حَدَّثنا يحيى بن سَعِيد قَال حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن عَجْلان قَال سَمعتُ أبي يحدث عَن أبي هُرَيرة قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم خَيْرُ صُفُوفِ الرِّجَالِ أَوَّلُهَا وَشَرُّهَا آخِرُهَا في الصلاة وخير صفوف النساء في الصلاة آخرها وشرها أولهاوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رَوَاهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَن ابن عَجْلان منهم سفيان الثوري ورواه عنه أَبُو نعيم وهُو حديث معروف عَن ابن عَجْلان ولاَ نعلمه يروى عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم خَيْرُ صُفُوفِ الرِّجَالِ أَوَّلُهَا وَشَرُّهَا آخِرُهَا في الصلاة وخير صفوف النساء في الصلاة آخرها وشرها أولهاوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رَوَاهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَن ابن عَجْلان منهم سفيان الثوري ورواه عنه أَبُو نعيم وهُو حديث معروف عَن ابن عَجْلان ولاَ نعلمه يروى عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Amr ibn Ali narrated to us, saying: Yahya ibn Said narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Ajlan narrated to us, saying: I heard my father narrate from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "The best rows for men are the first, and the worst are the last, in prayer. And the best rows for women in prayer are the last, and the worst are the first." This hadith has been narrated by more than one narrator from Ibn Ajlan, among them Sufyan al-Thawri. Abu Nuaym narrated it from him, and it is a well-known hadith from Ibn Ajlan. We do not know of it being narrated from Abu Hurairah except through this route.
