حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ قَالَ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ زَاذَانَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ أَنَّهُ شَرِبَ قَائِمًا فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ النَّاسُ فَأَنْكَرُوا ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ مَا تُنْكِرُونَ أَنْ أَشْرَبَ قَائِمًا فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَشْرَبُ قَائِمًا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَشْرَبُ قَائِمًا
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Ali (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that he drank while standing, and the people looked at him disapprovingly. Ali said: "What do you find strange about my drinking while standing? Indeed the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) drank while standing."
