وحَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن يحيى القطعي قَال حَدَّثنا عُمَر بن علي المقدمي قَال حَدَّثنا معن بن مُحَمد عَن حنظلة بن علي عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال كل عمل ابن آدم له إلاَّ الصوم فإنه لي وَأنا أجزي به يدع الطعام والشراب من أجليهذا الحديث لا نعلم رواه عن حنظلة بن علي إلاَّ معن بن مُحَمد ولاَ عَن معن إلاَّ عُمَر بن علي اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال كل عمل ابن آدم له إلاَّ الصوم فإنه لي وَأنا أجزي به يدع الطعام والشراب من أجليهذا الحديث لا نعلم رواه عن حنظلة بن علي إلاَّ معن بن مُحَمد ولاَ عَن معن إلاَّ عُمَر بن علي
انگریزی ترجمہ
And Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Qutai narrated to us, saying: Umar ibn Ali al-Muqaddami narrated to us, saying: Man ibn Muhammad narrated to us from Hanzalah ibn Ali from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: "Every deed of the son of Adam is for him except fasting, for it is for Me and I shall reward for it. He leaves food and drink for My sake." This hadith is not known to us to have been narrated from Hanzalah ibn Ali except by Man ibn Muhammad, and not from Man except by Umar ibn Ali.
