حَدَّثنا عُمَر بن الخطاب قَال حَدَّثنا حسان بن غالب قَال حَدَّثنا ابن لهيعة عن مُحَمد بن عَبد الله بن مالك عَن مُحَمد بن عَمْرو بن عطاء عن سلمة بن الأزرق عَن أبي هُرَيرة قَالَ مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم بجنازة يبكى عليها وَأنا معه وعمر بن الخطاب فانتهرهن عُمَر فقال دعهن يا ابن الخطاب فإن النفس مصابة والعين دامعة والعهد قريب صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم بجنازة يبكى عليها وَأنا معه وعمر بن الخطاب فانتهرهن عُمَر فقال دعهن يا ابن الخطاب فإن النفس مصابة والعين دامعة والعهد قريب
انگریزی ترجمہ
Umar ibn al-Khattab narrated to us, he said: Hassan ibn Ghalib narrated to us, he said: Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Malik, from Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Ata, from Salamah ibn al-Azraq, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) passed by a funeral over which people were weeping, and I was with him, and Hadrat Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be well pleased with him). Umar rebuked them, but he stated: «Leave them, O Ibn al-Khattab, for the soul is afflicted, the eye is tearful, and the covenant is recent.»
اردو ترجمہ
یوسف بن موسیٰ نے ہم سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا: وکیع نے ہم سے بیان کیا، اعمش سے، ابو صالح سے، حضرت ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: «جو شخص اللہ اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتا ہے اسے چاہیے کہ اپنے مہمان کی عزت کرے۔»
