Hadrat Ali (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed there are three hundred and sixty joints in a human being. So whoever says 'Allahu Akbar' (Allah is the Greatest), or says 'La ilaha illallah' (there is no god but Allah), or says 'Subhan Allah' (Glory be to Allah), or says 'Astaghfirullah' (I seek Allah's forgiveness), or removes a stone, a thorn, or a bone from the people's path, or enjoins good, or forbids evil — to the number of those three hundred and sixty joints — he walks on that day having distanced himself from the Hellfire." This hadith is not known to be narrated from Ali from the Prophet except through this chain.
