Nasr ibn 'Ali narrated to us: Abu Ahmad narrated to us: Sufyan narrated to us from Humayd from Anas who said: The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to be among the most excellent of people in character. One day he sent me on an errand, and I said: By Allah, I will not go. But in my heart I intended to go where the Prophet of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) had ordered me. So I went out and came upon some boys playing in the market. Then the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) came from behind and took hold of the back of my neck. I looked at him and he was laughing. He said: «O Unays, did you go where I told you?» I said: Yes, I am going, O Messenger of Allah.
