حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن مَعْمَر حَدَّثنا الحجاج حَدَّثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَن أَيُّوبَ عَن نافعٍ عَن ابْنِ عُمَر أَن عُمَر قَالَ يَا رَسولَ اللهِ إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ أَنْ أَعْتَكِفَ يَوْمًا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ قَالَ اذْهَبْ فَأَوْفِ بِنَذْرِكَ وَكان مَعَهُ غُلامٌ مِنْ سَبْيِ هَوَازِنَ فَسَمِعَ النَّاسَ يَقُولُونَ أَعْتَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم سَبْيَ هَوَازِنَ فَقَالَ اذهب فأنت حر إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ أَنْ أَعْتَكِفَ يَوْمًا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ قَالَ اذْهَبْ فَأَوْفِ بِنَذْرِكَ وَكان مَعَهُ غُلامٌ مِنْ سَبْيِ هَوَازِنَ فَسَمِعَ النَّاسَ يَقُولُونَ أَعْتَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم سَبْيَ هَوَازِنَ فَقَالَ اذهب فأنت حر
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ja'far ibn Muhammad ibn al-Yaman narrated to us saying: Khalid ibn Makhlad narrated to us saying: Sulayman ibn Bilal narrated to us from Ja'far ibn Muhammad from his father from Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be well pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «Beware of injustice, for injustice will be darkness on the Day of Resurrection. And beware of stinginess, for it destroyed those before you. It led them to shed their blood and to make lawful what was forbidden to them.»
